With Slides you can create a beautiful image slideshow, with cross fading effect, in no time at all, and it's free!

NEW! Fixed to support multiple slideshows on the same page.

Customize your slideshow even more with the new ability to wait before the show starts.

Read more about the latest feature at http://github.com/olle/slides.

Or download the latest Slides plugin and impress your friends with your very own slideshow.

Just attach the plugin call to an img element and pass an array of images.

<img id="slideshow" src="#" alt="" />

$('#slideshow').Slides({images : [
    'http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3052/3086132328_e2041be795.jpg?v=0',
    'http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2218/2753093913_c7a17dfca0.jpg?v=0',
    'http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3153/2732124517_9ce1d5f033.jpg?v=0',
    'http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2370/1606964295_8cfba4ae4e.jpg?v=0'
]});

And watch...

...the slideshow!

Now also works with multiple slideshows on the same page.

It's so easy to adjust the slideshow pause tempo and fade speed. Just pass the values along in your call to Slides.

$('#slides').Slides({
   images : [...],
   pause : 6000,
   fade : 2000,
   wait : 5000
});
